Lisa Moorish made a big splash with her return to the music scene over the summer of 2025. Releasing her first album for 20 years, ‘Divine Chaos’, co-produced by Lisa’s good friend Zoe Devlin Love, singles were played all over the UK airwaves — supported by radio jocks such as Lauren Laverne, Jo Whiley, Chris Hawkins, Gary Crowley and more — and she returned to the live arena for some exceedingly well received shows.

Now comes the ‘Divine Chaos’ album remix package. Jack Said What mainstay Steve Mac takes the title track and warps it into an accessible techno burbler akin to vintage millennium X-Press 2, Lisa’s vocodered Vox floating over the top like an ethereal phantom.

The one and only Jon Carter, another artist back on the scene after taking time out, transforms ‘Susan & David’ into a deep, melodic mellifluous techno piece that unfolds like a beautiful flower blooming in the springtime.

The first single from the album, ‘Sylvia’ — an homage to celebrated poet and writer Sylvia Plath, who also happens to be Lisa’s doppelgänger — is splendidly overhauled by Belfast’s finest, David Holmes, who adds additional acid and percussion for a discursive alt.pop triumph. And we’re not even halfway through the remix package yet.

Mexico’s Redraft Memories takes Lisa to the techno rave for a beast of a revamp of ‘Social Pariah’. These Machines apply a bit of a Soulwax vibe to ‘The Hunger’, with zippy synth swipes and Gerd Janson bass fillips. There’s a dub of the David Holmes remix of ‘Sylvia’ for the headz, and finally Serge Santiago — in his Sound Klash guise — puts a boom on the beats and adds some sideways zigzagging synth work to ‘In My Defence’.

This top remix package breathes new life into the ‘Divine Chaos’ album, bringing Lisa’s voice and big personality to a whole fresh set of ears and dancefloors. Check the album, and let us know your favourites.
